What the Panel Is
This screen evaluates the function of the thyroid gland, which regulates metabolism. It is essential for investigating symptoms of fatigue, weight change, and sensitivity to temperature. A overactive or underactive thyroid may require appropriate treatment by a clinician.

Important Pre-Test Information
- Medication: If you are taking biotin supplements, please stop taking them 7 days before the test, as they can interfere with thyroid results.
- Thyroxine/Levothyroxine: If you are taking thyroid replacement medication, your blood should ideally be collected before you take your morning dose.
